About Doug Freeman Insurance Agency

We started as an agent with Nationwide September 2, 1991, in Alpharetta, GA. We stayed in Alpharetta until February 2008 when we moved to our current location in Cleveland, GA. Serving the NE Georgia area has always been a dream of mine. I grew up on the same property we now have the office. So, getting back home so to speak was a dream come true.

Doug was born in 1964 right here in Cleveland GA. Attended White County High School and graduated in 1982. While being a Warrior on the Baseball field and playing in the Warrior Band, Doug earned a scholarship to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa OK and graduated in 1986 with a Business Degree.


Doug returned to Georgia in 1986 and worked for Ford Motor Credit Co in Atlanta for almost 4 years. He then went to the retail side of the Automotive Industry, where he stayed until getting the opportunity to start with Nationwide as a scratch agency.


Earning awards like "On Your Side Certified Agency" and Champion Awards has set Doug apart from the field. Doug wants to make sure everyone is properly insured and then cared for when you need us the most.
